Nano 300 colloquium for undergraduate and graduate college students

The Power Sources Manufacturers Association (PSMA), an APEC sponsor, has developed the Nano 300 colloquium for undergraduate and graduate college students. PSMA Nano 300 is posted on the PSMA web page (psma.com) and is available for access. As educators, and supporters of APEC, who are dedicated in bringing technology to the forefront in education, we are inviting you to encourage your students in 2015, and beyond, to participate in PSMA Nano 300. It is a free introduction to nanotechnology with cash awards.

PSMA Nano 300 is an e-learning colloquium, which is being offered exclusively and without charge to undergraduate and graduate college students, in engineering, science and business worldwide. The colloquium is designed to further the education and the application of nanotechnology within the power sources industry and associated industries. Students enrolled in the colloquium are encouraged to write and submit a nanotechnology concept paper. Each year, PSMA will award a first prize of $1,500 for the best paper and a $500 second prize. Additional recognition awards are under consideration. The 2015 round of concept papers are to be submitted by May 1, 2015.

For more detailed information and overview, go to the PSMA Nano 300 colloquium. It can be accessed from the Courses Tab of the PSMA Nanotechnology Forum or from the Quick Links on the PSMA homepage (psma.com).

We are asking you to recommend to your students, both undergraduate and graduate, to go to the PSMA home page and join the PSMA Nano 300 colloquium. Please feel free to solicit your colleagues and other departments to do the same. By doing so, you will be giving your students an opportunity to place nanotechnology in their education tool box for future use.

We shall be staying in touch with you during the coming weeks. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to forward them to our administrator lisa@psma.com.
