Learn more @ www.utrc.utc.com Job Responsibilities UTRCI has an opening for an Internship in the area of Embedded Systems and Model-based Design. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate some experience in at least three of the following topics: Real-Time Operating Systems, Multicore platform programming, scheduling algorithms, Optimization algorithms, Modelling and coding using Mathworks Matlab and Simulink.
The successful candidate will contribute to existing projects related to Aerospace and Building & Industrial Systems technologies. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary, multinational technology team developing new technologies that will provide competitive advantage for United Technologies Corporation (UTC) business units. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works well in an international teaming environment, is well-organized and has excellent interpersonal, and communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:
Education Currently enrolled as a Master or PhD student in the areas of Embedded Systems, Digital Electronics, or Computer Science Experience/Qualifications The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: • Some experience in one of the following languages C, Matlab and HDL • Some knowledge in microcontroller programming, prototyping platforms, middleware architectures, communication protocols for embedded platforms. • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team to successfully achieve desired technical outcomes within time and budget constraints. • Ability to adapt to new challenges and go beyond the original field of expertise.
