Looking for a better cooperation among CEI units internally and between CEI and other research groups, the Steering Council has approved the CEI Initiatives as a new instrument for better achievements in new promising areas in Industrial Electronics.

At the same time, the CEI IoT Initiative has been launched to increase our research efforts around the Internet of Things, a very promising and potential concept, where Industrial Electronics has an important role to play. This new Initiative will be coordinated by Prof. Roberto Prieto.
