CEI is participating in the project NANOHYPERTHERMIA (Development of new nanoparticles and protocols for enhanced hyperthermia) that belongs to the CIBER-BBN (Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red – Bioingeniería, Biomateriales y Nanomedicina). This project is scheduled for 2014-2015. The aim of this research project is at the development of new technologies of potential clinical application mainly as therapies against several cancer types. The main target is the development of optimized hyperthermia protocols, including the synthesis of adequate nanoobjects, as part of therapeutic treatments.
