Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) represent one of the most active research fields within the last decade in communications and electronic engineering. The digital embedded systems group has been working actively on this field during the last years.

The activities developed within this area include hardware platforms for nodes in WSNs, test beds, wake-up radio FPGA based systems and 3D-reconstruction and radio propagation for WSN planning tools.

Many activities are based on the Cookies, which is a hardware platform for Wireless Sensor Networks developed at Centro de Electrónica Industrial, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid
