Javier Ucceda appointed coordinator of the UPM microelectronics initiative

Professor Javier Uceda has been appointed as new coordinator of the UPM microelectronics inititive starting on January 14th.

The UPM Microelectronics Initiative was conceived throughout 2023 as a voluntary association of research centers and institutes with activities related to microelectronics, optoelectronics, and semiconductor technology. It emerged driven by a group of researchers and with the support of the rectoral team, with the internal objective of coordinating, structuring, and energizing teaching and research activities in these areas, as well as projecting a single corporate image of µe-UPM to the outside world—toward both public administrations and private companies—to facilitate the execution of R&D&I projects and training activities in this field.
