He was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1978. He received the M.Sc. in Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM), Madrid, in 2003 and 2010, respectively. Since 2006, he has been an Assistant Professor of electronics with the UPM, being tenured on 2014. He is Associate Professor since 2021. His research interests are focused on embedded- system design, wireless-sensor networks, Internet of Things and FPGA based reconfigurable systems.
