Award for CEI researcher

Blanca López, a researcher of CEI within hte line of reconfigurable systems, received a double condecoration on the Diploma Graduation Act, held on Sept 22nd 2014.

Blanca received an award of Best Final Career Projects. Her project was about a multi-objective evolutionary hardware system which considers both functionality of the application (the application is image filtering arrays) which also considers minimum power consumption as well as the functionality. This was done on the HiReCookie node, our FPGA-based High Performance wireless node, thus having an enhanced list of self-* features such as self-reconfiguration, self-adaptive, self-healing, self-power-aware.

Also, Blanca received the Diploma for the end of her five years engineering studies, scoring in the first position of the Speciality of Automation and Electronics.

Congratulations, Blanca, for both outstanding achievements.

The reconfigurable systems research line of CEI in of CEI has received, along the last five years, four Best Project Awards. Since 2010, Juan Valverde, Javier Mora, Ángel Gallego and now, Blanca López form this high-quality team.
