He was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1968. He received the Dipl.-Eng. degree in electrical engineering in 1992 and the Ph.D. degree in 1999, both from the UPM. In 1994, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, UPM, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His main research interests are harmonics and power quality, and distributed generation.
